Account Organisational Structure
LazyPhish allow you to set organisational structure from basic setup used by most of our customers consisting of one entity and several user groups:
...
To very complex structure of group of companies in one corporate or concern:
...
Account
Account is created during registration and it is identified by the billing details provided during the registration. Under account you can create entities. However typically you will have only one entity.
When to use more than one entity?
If you are a group or concern of companies you can set each entity for each company in your group or concern. Also if you are a big company with operations in many countries or if you have other independent sections or lines within your company under different management especially security management you can use a separate entities.
You can then evaluate the results for each entity, lines or sections of your company/group/concern separately but everything will be accessible through one account.
Entity
Entity is a base unit which group employees of a company entity typically under one management and security management. Your users and user groups are created within entity and all reporting is also tied to entity.
Tip |
---|
In most cases only one entity is the best way. We recommend to start with that. |
Note |
---|
Please do not mix the ideas of entities and user groups. Entities are used to separate completely different companies or large parts of company where it make sense. You can consult with our support in case of any questions. User Groups are used to categorise employees in groups like management, accounting, etc. These groups can be used in all entities. This will allow you to compare the the results between same user groups in different entities. |
