How to validate a Domain
Please note that domains are automatically derived from list of uploaded users and associated emails. All the derived domains are added to the domains list in Domains section.
Select Entity you want to work with in Entity Selector. (LazyPhish Overview | Left Menu Overview:)
Go to the Setup section in the left menu.
Choose the Domains view.
Locate the domain you want to validate. You can use the search bar.
Click on envelope button in actions to add the validation email.
Message prompt for validation email will pop up. Please enter the email address that belongs to the domain.
After the email address confirmation a mail request is sent to the provided email address. This request provide the necessary information to the approver.
Approver must click on the Validate Domain button in the email.
When the approver click on the button domain is validated for use in LazyPhish. Both the approver and account owner get notification about successful validation.
For validation purposes please use only email address of the domain owner that has the right to approve the use of this domain for testing phishing campaigns. This is typically CISO or C-level Management of a company. This legal action (approval) will be recorded in our systems. Any misconduct will be subject to legal actions.
Please note that there is also a manual checking process and in case of suspicious activity we have the right to block the account until the verification of the approval with the domain owner by our team.
How to delete a Domain
Select Entity you want to work with in Entity Selector. (LazyPhish Overview | Left Menu Overview:)
Go to the Setup section in the left menu.
Choose the Domains view.
Locate the domain you want to delete. You can use search.
Click on delete button in actions to delete the domain.
Message prompt for confirmation will pop up. To continue click on Yes.
The domain has now been deleted.
How to add a Domain manually
Select Entity you want to work with in Entity Selector. (LazyPhish Overview | Left Menu Overview:)
Go to Setup section in the left menu.
Choose the Domains view.
Click on + NEW DOMAIN button
Message prompt for domain name will pop up.
Write the domain name and click OK.
Now the domain has been added.
